corporate risk is untouchable until asset cap is lifted.
regulators told wells to stop cutting risk while corrective actions were taking place.
onky cuts now are natural attrition (quits, run over by bus, murdered, etc)
Corporate Risk is heavily bloated and upper management keeps playing the ‘we need all these people to manage shrp’s’ and you have layers after layers doing redundant, manual work across multiple areas and it’s ridiculous. I hope CS sees this and starts to make some necessary changes quickly.
Some folks have been laid off, like some of the Corp Risk communications folks. And, if you're asking specifically about those reporting up through Mandy N, those teams are going through spans and layers now. I would anticipate layoffs in 2022 for those teams.

Who are these people. There's been very few layoffs company wide.
I hope risk and control are next for layoffs. No value add, just ask people with real jobs to do their job as well. Totally worthless.

There is a “Team Update” scheduled tomorrow morning for Consumer Lending Risk but no agenda was shared. Could be a re-org announcement, layoffs, location/relocation strategy, wfh update, spans and layers, or just chit chat.
Risk is back to hiring but only in hubs
Quiet as a graveyard in Auto. We just had an all hands call yesterday for SAA operations. More of the same Wellsplaing spanning front end call monitoring all the way to high priority Sharp issues. Just a big corporate KoolAid jamboree session. No news. No wants to be there. The work can easily be outsourced. They keep telling us everything is fine. We all just want packages. They don’t really need us. Risk in Auto is just theater… not even good theater. It’s community theater.🤮
