Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

It has finally happened!

After months of applications, interviews, followups and everything else you can imagine HR departments do or don't do: I finally have an offer.

I can finally go back to working and having an upwardly mobile career again, after this bait and switch scheme that derailed my career for far too long.

I have never been part of such a hostile racially and socially charged environment of punitive fear and I look forward to just being judged on the merit of my work.

Thank you Lord for allowing me a way out. May the rest of you good people who are only interested in being honorable and working hard find a way to move out and up as well, leaving the social wonderkinds to their delusions of utopia in a failing company.

I hope to never have to listen to another corporate meeting with people talking about their se-ual preferences or private parts again and get back to parity with professionals on tech, process and real measures of success.

Oh, they’re out there. Afterhours NY & SF nighttime videos of the many pretty people in the city, and I swear… some of them are girls.

There are many of us right there behind you, interviewing and working on an exit. I'm going to predict, based on TM sentiments on here and in daily work interactions/feedback, that their approach to tick off as many people as they can so they quit, is going to result in their future inability to run and operate this company. There is going to be a strong churn of turnover that will impact operations. My two cents. I have never been anywhere where I have observed this level of angst, anger, negativity, employee dissatisfaction and disrespect as I have seen at this company. It is appalling. The mere fact that our CEO is referred to by so many as "The Chainsaw" should be problematic for HR and the Board, but it doesn't seem to be at all.

As progressive as I am, I'm a little jealous of OP. I expect by 2022, I'll be signing onto our intranet to articles about our exec who is a swinger and group pictures of his first big "party" from 1980.

My grandfather had a "plus", in addition to his marriage. Everybody knew about it... my grandma included, but nobody felt compelled to the ridiculous level of sharing that goes on today. I don't feel compelled to write articles as a swinger ally or tell my family story at work because NOBODY cares and people ARE WORKING.

Can we just go back to being progressive and SANE? Can we go back to ally vs shove this down your throat? Can we start admitting that Wells jumped the shark and it is starting to harm the alphabet community because IT IS TOO MUCH!

I'm looking as well. When i read the main company site and its either George Floyd worship and pronoun training courses, i want to work for a normal bank who knows we're in finance instead of pushing a freak show on their employees day in day out. Not only that but this company and their mass hiring of non Americans in India is depressing as heck. I lost all respect for the management here.

@eaa+1bACc2Lj oh don't worry, if he prefers to be called a pretty little lady, he can definitely find someone to refer to him as such.

@gcu aren't you guys supposed to not assume gender? Where did the OP ever state thier gender?

Sounds like you might need bias training again.

The amount of hatred from progressives on this is rather telling.

Labels are something you ask people to stop using like "h omo" or "f ag" yet you are perfectly comfortable saying "grandpa" in an agist bias.

Surely you have to recognize you are using the same tactics you are supposedly against?

That makes you manipulative hypocrites.

The OP isnt commenting on lifestyles, they are commenting on forced participation in agendas.

Congratulations! If there are still companies out there with the guts to judge based on merits only, sounds like you may have come across a rare find these days. Glad you found a way out and hope it works out in the end.

I am not looking for a discrimatory organization you nub. What a terrible assertion on your part. I am looking for an organization where I can WORK not be forced to hear Dana's s-b story ot Talis coming out party. I do not need to hear details of your s-x life to be kind to you.
