Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

250 being laid off/quit per workday on average

So with this speed, I think we will hit the 50k mark much sooner than expected and will hit the 70k mark before Q3 next year. This is really scary I have to say.

Between June 14 and July 16 there will be calibration meetings scheduled. July 19 - July 30, employees will learn their midyear rating.

There's no force ranking in midyears, not in my LOB anyway. Not that it matters, my best people have all been laid off.

We cut 10% of our small group end of April - 3 people - we're looking to cut another 1-3 based on force ranking people during the midyear reviews. Sucks since we really don't have any more underperformers to cut - we'll just be cutting to cut...

If they go slow, people complain. If they go fast, people complain. Let's make up our minds people!

They laid off a large group of people from my department in May.
