Combine all this with both Truist and remote opportunities, CLT's traditional financial services companies need to take a hard look at retaining good talent. It's still way cheaper than SF or NYC, and these new CLT arrivals value their employees much more than legacy CLT companies. There are also other industry companies like Centene that are vying for good talent. Wells and BAC will be left with people who are too comfortable, under-skilked and too lazy to look for a new job. Have fun with that Chuckles and Mumbling Moynihan.

After 9 years I never even reached midpoint lol. But I only had civil rights for the last 3 so I don't blame myself for not pushing earlier.

  1. It's Ballantyne
  2. You don't have to live in Ballantyne to work in Ballantyne.

This certainly got my attention! Not too long ago Wells remapped job titles which lumped me in with previous lower ones. End result of this blind mapping is that now on paper I'm overpaid (at least for
my new title putting me 10%+ above the midpoint. Therefore, no raise for me. Hmmm.

Add in Robinhood and USAA as new entrants to CLT as well. Lots of incentives to go after your own market value.

yet another revolving door to command higher salaries in CLT.. wake up WFC. Location strategies are not helping you control costs. There's not even enough seats for the people you have in CLT.

Oh, so you mean it's not super smart to concentrate your employees all in one location? Leadership at Wells is so stupid!
