Company bean counters everywhere don’t understand that technology is an investment so they treat it as an expense. Who runs this company? You got it - bean counters. You are a bean too, BTW, which is why they will lay you off without a second though no matter how long you have been here or what you accomplished.

@1mtt+1b1K5dzR. It isn't going slowly. There is just a massive amount of work to do. Some of the data transfers alone were taking multiple weeks.

The infrastructure has to be built in the cloud. The apps tested before moving over.

Other apps aren't browser based but are thick clients that need to be rewritten.

why is going to the cloud so slow? They should hire qualified experienced cloud Architects, engineers, etc and get rid of the rest of the useless IT/arch/engineering dept here

Wells Fargo definitely vulnerable to a hack. Especially as we increase offshoring to third world countries. That’s going to be one that for the books when that happens. Aside from that, I’m pretty sure my 13 year old niece and her friends could get in.

OP, you realize that network vendors continue to support their products after 3 years right? Vulnerability Patching will continue just as it does now.
