Seems to be a lot of activity going on without any unofficial news. Trying to be optimistic but the silence around everything is a little scary.

The planners were blind sided last week with a layoff (non working for 60 days) which angered many FAs. Head of planning which is Chainsaw’s buddy has no idea about planning. Filter back down to the guy running WFA who had no idea that cutting your back office will impact service to your FAs.
To sum it up, it’s a circus with a bunch of clowns in charge. Wealth has always been bloated with redundant positions and people with single duties or tasks. Remember that guy now running WFA, he built part of the bloat.
Absolutely! The big news is that Charlie’s wealth is increasing nicely, thank you.
The Private Bank is getting dismantled bit by bit. Layoffs weekly now. They simply have no idea what to do with it and seem to want to skinny it down to bare bones with WF Advisors running much of the client money. Granted it was way over-staffed with high paid management for years. Most high performing wealth advisors and investment strategists are on their way out or have already left..several teams to Truist and BOA lately.
If you are in trade or order processing look out.
It's possible but WFA will always have a separate location from the bank. Too many rules and regulations.
No one has wealth at this company except Charlie and the gang of high paid clowns he brought in.

Off the top of my head, that doesn’t sound like a bad idea. I would be interested in hearing feedback from our FAs on that idea.
It does sound like it could provide a more organic cross-selling opportunity than “Eight is Great”. Of course, WFC will probably find a way to F it up.
If there are any left, plan on dedicated WFA Branch locations being combined with WFC branches.
Stop feeding the trolls and they'll go away.
Two things: Change the meds or up the dosage. Seek help, get a hobby, we're worried about you.
WIM Ops gonna get a deep haircut. Too many redundant functions.
I work in WIM. I posted earlier today on the Info is Power thread. We are getting some of the “There could be a lot of big changes before the end of the year” messaging from some of the managers who don’t want to see us get blindsided. Nothing concrete, of course, but enough to tell you to not be complacent.
