Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

I am out of here!!

I am so happy to be leaving here with a new position! I was underpaid majorly for my field, and people toxic and criminal. This is with out a doubt the worse company in the US to work for!

I recommend if you can get out, move elsewhere, nothing be as bad as here for sure!

There's such a disconnect. At least in tech, even with in the Tony Morris level (a direct of Saul) there are teams that are routinely working 50-60 hours weekly with diminishing resources while others slide by on 40 hours. If your situation is one or the other, don't dismiss the fact the opposite exists.

"OP has an axe to grind and shoehorns their unhinged politics into every comment. You can tell it's them from their writing style. Anyways, did you guys hear about Bill Daley and San FranSICKO?!"

In a way, all posts here are in a similar writing style. They're all in English.

Which posts do you say are similar writing styles, and why? I would be interested to see if you are as good at examining writing styles as you claim.

@twb OP has an axe to grind and won't let go. You can see the writing style in previous posts 'for sure'. Typical bèn dàn.

(NP here.) There’s just something about challenging hyperbole that seems pointless to me. Is this the worst job I’ve had, the most cutthroat? No. But before I worked here, I worked at a cutthroat stack-ranked noncollaborative knives-out “tech company” and decided to stop working places like that. I knew the tradeoff when I came to wells - slowly changing tech stack and often lackluster raises in exchange for a forty hour week and a better work culture which was open to WFH. And that was fine until it wasn’t. So yeah, I’ve seen worse. But I don’t take “worst office ever” literally. The sentiment I can identify with, even if the words aren’t literal truth.

It doesn't really matter where any of us worked previously, the point is that the "without a doubt" statement is demonstrably inaccurate. Just because you or I haven't personally worked a worse job doesn't change that--the fact remains there are worse jobs. Don't think so? Spend a day in an Arizona roofer's shoes or a coal miner's or a soldier's or the zillions of other truly back breaking / miserable jobs. In the grand scheme we have it easy, which is not to say that working here doesn't have it's challenges, but lets not pretend that we're breaking rocks on the hot sun in the 3rd world either. OP is prone to hyperbole.

@yqv+1b0HZ2P2 You must be the one who has been “studying” Charlie. Still uptick your own posts and still sore that Charlie does not care about you? Poor you!

"without a doubt" you haven't worked very many places OP, if you think WF is even close to the worst. There's thousands and thousands of employers in the US that pay less, have less benefits, and generally suck in other ways. If this is the worst place YOU have ever worked, you've been fortunate. I've worked at much much worse places than this, and millions of workers in this country still do!

So you're saying you witnessed criminal activity and didn't report it and instead stuck around to collect some checks? Is this something you do frequently? Interesting moral code ya got there.
