HR is supposed to announce the new Work Forward plan for corporate employees on Wed. Any rumors on what it will be?
How many days in office? How do they decide what days of the week? Are all desks going to be shared now?

Finance has been told we return to work Sep 7th but no further info regarding whether it's everyone every day or some people some days. Was hoping VZ would be more progressive in this area but they're still acting like Ma Bell.
Sounds like you're working for the wrong company. Maybe you should find a job with a company NOT headquartered at Basking Ridge.
@2ysj+1b0H3z40 I'm plenty social I just don't care about socializing with the corporate drones at BR.
Why do you all want to stay at home? Are you all anti social or something? Cmon kids, get out of your parents basements, go to work, maybe on Friday stop at the bar after work. It’s not good to stay in the basement forever. That’s why there’s so many of those shootings these days........
All the lazy work from home people claim that. Humbug!
I am more productive at home for sure. Plus I work longer hours. Same thing for most of my colleagues. I don't think VZ in a big hurry to put us back in the office at least those under my VP. Maybe a different story for other people who have less of a work ethic.
Time to bet back to in-person office work vs those work from home staff who claim they are more productive. Utter nonsense!
Any idy who uses this board to talk about the Union this or that is deadwood that should be purged from the company. Pro union or anti union anyone who cares is deadwood.
The irony is certainty lost on you.
Actually... I bet you think irony is the opposite of wrinkly.
I’m pretty sure the union isn’t d-mb enough to cancel WFH.
It won’t change much for most people in that it all depends on your group not corporates vague policy launch.
I’m in the pilot program and my schedule post covid return will be just like it was before except more about VZ and less about a benefit for me.
I have to go in the office and coordinate it with others now instead of all of us working home the best days for us. There will also be surveys and more surveys and record with our director and vp about how great it is working.
Im for home garaging forever
Suck it, union l0sers!
I'm salaried, non-union (thank God)
I've been told I can come in to the office or WFH at my discretion for the foreseeable future.
In addition, my direct reports (also salaried) are WFH as I see fit... With the exception of certain meetings and events, they will be allowed WFH as often as they like.
The union cares more about keeping us in line than they do allowing us to telecommute. I want out.
Yes, unions ARE a joke.
Is that a joke about home garaging and the union, contrasting it with office work?
If it is, I don't get it. Why would the union care?
Many were hoping home garaging would be forever, but the union will see to it that doesn't happen. It's already started here, many being asked to bring work trucks back to shops.
