Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Should I still worry?

Do all the branches that are slated for closing already know that? What are the chances they're going to spring it on us at this point? I'm thinking they notified people well in advance but I can't help but worry. I can't wait for them to announce they finally met their target so I can breathe normally again.

Not if but when will you get the RIF? That’s the question. They will never end and will accelerate under Rogers regime. As King Kelly rides off into the sunset leaving behind this train wreck prepare to be outsourced. SunTruist will continue to spiral down and won’t exist in 5 years. You’ve been warned.

No offense, but c’mon...how in the world can you work at Truist and think that your job is EVER going to be safe?? Have the Executives been transparent with you about ANYTHING yet?? We know about the big Executive compensation increases, but how much POSITIVE teammate news has come out in the last two years?? I am still waiting for my first bit.

Take the time now, while you still have a job, to begin looking for another in earnest. I can assure you that if you have a confidant in senior management (who cares about your well–being) they would tell you this – Get Out Of Here, It Is A Mess!!

It's not if, it's when.

The target will continue to move. The branch closures aren’t done. They will continue for years to come. Any time an expense needs to be realized, more will shutter. It’s a losing game. Get out now or be forced out later. I am serious!
