Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Charlie is not the big bad wolf

He is doing the job that he was brought in to do.

Sloan and Stumpf ran this company into the ground. Literally.

Charlie has the messy job of turning it around and he is on the right track

If you are scared for your job that means you got too comfortable and it’s time to brush up your skills.

Don’t be victims looking for someone to blame

Why the OP came to a layoff rumor website to fluff Chuck is beyond me.

Charlie is doing a good job. He still has so many Wells Fargo people he needs to get rid of

To the “if you want to complain leave” guy/gal, if you aren’t worried, why are you on a layoff site? I think we all know the answer, so trot back to your company masters and report like a good toady. While you’re at it, let the legitimately concerned folks be.

I think a lot of the "chaos" that is mentioned so often here is being created by those posting about it. If it makes you feel good to complain please leave. Did anyone actually believe whoever was hired as CEO this last round was going to come in and not make significant changes which included selling off parts of the company and high number of layoffs. Chalk another one up to the uneducated and immature. This is a business and Charlie has a job to do. Not defending, but if you think you can do better then go get your education and work your way up that ladder. Then let's see how you do and if 260,000 people think you are the right person for the role.

If his plan was to create chaos, was to hire his buddies, have those buddies talk and talk and talk, then institute changes that made no sense. Then changing again and again until all we have is people doing nothing but trying to figure out what they should do and when the next change will happen.

There is so much chaos and so many people refusing to step up. If that was his plan than he is doing great.

Actually, I was thinking OP and “Charlie is living inside your head👺” are the same person. Haha!!

I'd spring for the bar oil if he'd just hurry up and chainsaw me. He must have finished with the leather mask by now and if not, the leatherface masks can be had on amazon for less than $80. Get busy Charlie!

I’m laughing hysterically because I think there is confusion on this thread as far as who is responding to who. I’m pretty sure one of the Charlie–lovers (“Charlie is living in your head👺”) was trying to mock a non–Charlie lover, but it looked like they were mocking the OP.

It’s a sign o’ the times!

Everybody have a beautiful day at our favorite bank!

Charlie and the other new execs like SVB are short–timers. They were brought in by a cowardly Board to slash costs and shake things up. After a couple of years we'll get a new CEO who will also bring along his BFFs. Then we'll hear why everything needs to change again.

@nwi+1aur9ne9, why would i care? Sounds like you do though.

Work is an exchange for my time for money and not more. This is not your family and I am willing to guess none of your coworkers like u either along with Chainsaw. Either way it is only professional, not family nor friends but coworkers.

@OP: Can you say YES MAN? How do you know he won’t chainsaw you too?

@kjr+1aur9ne9. Hello. Still hate Charlie because he does not care about you?

Op, why do you do so many posts about Charlie? Seems like some kind of obsession and is unhealthy. Maybe try focusing on yourself.

You’re not responding to who you think you're responding to, either.

I followed the previous thread and am asking a fair question which I would hope someone would have the stones to answer.

@xld+1aur9ne9. I don’t think Charlie makes OP unhappy. You allow Charlie making you miserable. For your own sake, let go of Charlie obsession in such a negative way. You will be happier

@xld you're not responding to who you think you're responding to. It would appear that others have noticed your 'issues' as well.

Fair question: So do you think this OP does not have “Charlie living in their head”? Do you only accuse people who are not pro–Charlie?

I think most would agree that “Charlie is living in your head”. I’m not the one who is obsessed with defending Charlie Scharf. Might be time to take an honest look in the mirror. Dear.

Get ready to be accused of “Charlie living in your head.”

You can not mention the CEO of the company you work for without being accused of “Charlie living in your head”.

Skills eh? Are they current? Sounds like a techy. Got the auto finance system fixed yet? There's no stopping CDS in this place, but I generally agree with you. I think WF will be well positioned in a couple years, my problem is that I likely won't be here to see it.
