Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Out of touch leaders have no clue!!

The people at the top are id--ts. People making $25 an hour can't stand to be here, don't want to deal with the sh-t numbers we have to hit, selling add on products that nobody wants , making less money year after year, and working 10 hr days with 2 reps in a store that should have 5 reps working at all times, an hour wait time in the queue, getting no breaks or lunch, being berated by customers,wearing denim!!!..how the fu-k do they think they are going to find people to work here part time for $12 an hour and put up with this sh-t, when all of us that actually show up for work everyday and care about our jobs( and used to care about this company ) are gone, this place is going to be a sh-t show!! Stores will be a revolving door of 20 year olds that could give 2 sh--s about the company, the customers or their jobs. Good luck Hans and the rest of the people at the top who have no idea what is happening in these stores, you have ki---d the morale, even the managers and the kool aid drinkers are fed up. You are going to run this company into the ground and ruin the Verizon name brand!

I'm a GM. I used to love and be energized by my job. I work my b––t off still. Difference is I don't care now. Congrats. On your shift verizon became c––p. What a great culture you fostered. Can it be saved? Maybe. But somethings can't be cut to save money. As soon as you realize it's our people and our network that made us who we are then we can turn the corner and heal. Ignore the people problem and your customer base will erode. I'm sad and mad but mostly numb. This place is broken.

You can't be fired for numbers. If it's not on your PA or in commissions then it's irrelevant. Show it in writing. Honestly just take receipts. CYA
