Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Is there a ranking of the worst places to work for?

I just looked at Fortune's 100 Best Companies to Work For just to see how other banks are doing and of course, a few made the list. Not us, of course. If we want to make a list, it has to be for the worst place to work for. I can bet you whatever you want we'd land at the very top of such list.

And yes, I am bitter.

@oss is either Charlie or one of those so-called leaders he imported from Chase who kisses his keister.

You Charlie-lovers are so easy to get riled up. Easy pickings. It’s like kicking a chicken coop. “Squawk squawk!”

“ Anyone who stands up for Charlie and how he treats his employees either doesn’t have much respect for themselves, or has a sc–w loose.”

Blame those who created the mess we are in Stumpf and Tolstedt. The ones who created the fire not the firefighter! You must be one of those who who think your spouse is an angel but the person he/she cheats on you with is 100% at fault. Wake up!

How Charlie treats his employees? The CEO, Board and Operating Committee set the strategic goals. If you want to blame someone for being laid off or 'treated badly', that would be on the tactical side which means your boss volunteered you or/and treats you like cr@p.

Sorry to disappoint you cut Charlie neither knows nor cares about you yet he seems to be living rent free in your head.

Anyone who stands up for Charlie and how he treats his employees either doesn’t have much respect for themselves, or has a sc–w loose. I suspect the “Charlie lovers” out here are just being an itch to get under people’s skin, which is another sign of having a loose sc–w.

Either way, have fun adoring the guy that can’t wait to get rid of you. You have future victim written all over you. I suspect you are the same people who deny your partner is cheating on you despite all the evidence to the contrary.

Worst company to work for or company with the worst employees? Best people do not work for the worst company.

Knowing where your company rank does not help anything. If you are unhappy you should do something about it. It’s your life and it’s up to you how you want it to be. Rely on others to make you happy will get you nowhere. Be proactive and control your future. It starts with you.

Someone asked me once “what are the traits and behaviors we see in children who suffered under helicopter parenting their whole lives”

My reply is to always send them here and read some of these posts

You are entitled and clueless.

Go work for McDonalds or pick oranges in Florida. You couldn’t handle 100% of the jobs that most people on this country do every day just to get through 1 more week

The snowflakes are getting out of control on here

A company who considers their employees to be dispensable, and treats them as such, is automatically a worst company to work for.

Now you know where Wells stands. What are you going to do?

Just look at the years long sale practices scandal. It resulted in the bank being fined, congressionally shamed on TV, and thousands of employees fired and angry customers. Now, thousands are being laid off due to cut costs, morale is in the gutter, and it is high time we get real HR leadership.

Perhaps it would be helpful to know where Wells Fargo stands in the public’s eye.

The Harris Poll 100 Corporate Reputation Ranking surveys Americans about the public’s top-of-mind awareness of companies that either excel or falter in society. These 100 “most visible companies” are then ranked across the seven key dimensions of reputation to arrive at the ranking.

For 2020, Wells Fargo ranked #96 (Poor) out of 100 most visible companies
