The CISO needs a technical degree and I urge you to check the backgrounds of the people in charge .
The formula Wells uses is quite simple: we decrement your usefulness at the rate of 5% for every year you have been here . So at 20 years Wells , you have no hope at all to be in any leadership role. The equivalent premium for JP experience is the inverse . So guess where your boss is coming from with half the experience but considered two times better.
Unfortunately, 'CISO the Worthless' has already inflicted much damage. Too many good people, and even entire teams have walked out because of him. But more than anything, kicking out two executives in the same week does not show stability at the bank. The CEO really needs to unfuck this place fast, or the stock will fall back down.

He's probably leaving because Samuelson gave notice on 4/6 to leave by August 6. No one to do his work now.

I agree. Current CISO seems more clueless then SVB. They need to get rid of both of them and hire real Tech Leaders in order for the Tech Transformation to happen. The 6’S and Agile is not going to cut it.
