Do you know if you quit a Star Assignment if you can go back on unemployment or do you have to be let go from your assignment?

why even worry about it, your wasting your life; issue with many workers here is they are scared to take any safe risk even. Thats why they stay in same role 40 years and never do anything of value.
Layoff or no layoff who cares; HR can do the star roles, fake jobs.
I personally got a better job with a place I can make a difference. There is no value in the work here and that just is not good fit for people who are driven.
People who are not driven will wake up in 50 years and see they are doing the same thing still they started 50 years ago. Not the life I am looking to lead.
short answer is no, you cannot quit a temp assignment and get unemployment.
In Ca if you take a temp job you can’t get unemployment if you quit before the job ends. Doesn’t matter that it’s temp. If there is work available to you and you choose not to do it you can’t get paid by the state
They don’t care if you don’t like it.
Star work is temporary. That might make a difference with your state's unemployment office. Why not call them and ask?

You can’t quit any work and go back on unemployment. You’ll have to stick it out until it ends, then you can get unemployment again.
Unless you can prove abuse and that’s really hard.

If you're on unemployment you're no longer in the retainment pool and therefore no longer eligible for a STAR assignment, right?
