How certain can we be that layoffs are done - at least for the time being? This has been stressful several days and I can't relax even though its weekend. I hate that my work is affecting me as much as it is, but there's very little I can do to change that. Anyhow, if anybody can confirm that it's over, please do so. I'll be very grateful.

A reduction of 2.2% of global workforce, which is around 480-500 staff
The axe is still swinging low in the UK.
Colleagues are tasked to train non-UK staff which makes them a costly overhead.
Shameless.
Layoffs are 100% done, until the next round.
It will be annual ongoing. Each year - bottom rated staff. The forced bell curve will ensure there is always someone on the bottom. It's by design. Who in their right mind would work there?!
I would doubt with SS&C it is over. This company is a sinking ship.
The question becomes why would they drag it out - it’s a massive demoralization event - so i would suspect that it’s over... if they laid off 500, then a week later another 500? Better to pull the bandaid off in one pull and be done with it.
Are they over ‘longer term’ - who knows - is your group doing well? Hitting their numbers? That’s a simple way to determine the impact and future viability. Numbers = what’s happening with layoffs. Triggers include not selling things - customers leaving - etc. etc. If you had a business that was over staffed and your sales team wasn’t closing new customers you’d have to make a decision like this too...
Not that it’s pleasant in anyway shape or form.
