Do you want to know the biggest priority in every store? Do you want to know the item the the success of the company hinges on? It's called VZP Home. All this focus on VZP Home. This $25 product that makes the tiniest fraction of profit comparitively while we watch thousand of opportunities nationwide walk out the door not being helped. Tens of thousands of unsatisfied customers and potential new customers never get help. And millions of dollars of profits out the door weekly. It's called slight of hand folks. Keep your eye on the "prize" of VZP home and maybe no one will notice or say anything about all the stuff we messed up. I hear and see the "bells of churn" daily except there is not enough people to help. We captured that $25 sale and lose $750 in sales with each passing day. Seems like a good trade off. Make a list of things that are important id–ts. And repeat the important stuff x10 times a day. Have reports and phone calls about those things... then you can worry about item #VZPH1 when you reach spot 62 on the list. Didn't you learn your lesson with hum??

They want us to sell ourselves out of a job. The more customers that have vzprotect or TMP, the less care and tech reps they think they will need to employ eventually cuz those customers go to tech coach when they call in for anything. Too bad tech coach always transfer to tech support anyway cuz they don’t know what they’re doing and then I have to repair the brand that they trashed. I don’t mention vzprotect at all and my supervisor ain’t happy but I don’t care cuz it’s a crock and feels like I’m defrauding customers if I do. TEC or Wpp works just fine to make sure ur device is protected in case of an accident or lost/stolen. Customers that have experienced Tech Coach know they are a joke yet we are being brow beaten to sell something customers don’t want most likely cuz of whatever contract we have with Asurion when Tech Coach was birthed.

A potional new customers from TMO, they have a low bill. So what is the game plan?

  1. Get a good price point on the qoute and sell how the service is better.
  1. Load a quote with extras like VZP, VZHome and high tier plans.
  1. Make them do it online because they are not getting insurance or accessories.
  • the op is so correct, we have people walking. People are not switching for a higher bill. It is a total s show

It’s crazy every other year is something new . First Features (roadside assistance, ring back tones) then Hum(worst one of them all) now vz protect

Ha So true!! That is all I hear daily! Put it in a quote! Slam it. Slam it. slam it. I will slam it before I lose my job if that's the way it has to be! I can trick enough old people.
