In ongoing small cuts, how many are getting kicked to the curb each month?

The trouble is, it’s not for people with no drive or ambition either. For a long time it was impossible to be fired in Technology. Or close to. There were a couple driven people in any group, big fish in the small pond, and that was fine. They got a lot of latitude and made a name for themselves and moved on while the lifers were lifers. Lately it’s gotten less family and more rat-race, so you get the cut throat atmosphere without the money, which is the worst outcome. The lifers will gut it out as long as they can, but it’s really not ideal for anybody now.
Unfortunately only the good ones are leaving.
CS has 260k now reporting to him. That number was around 273-275 a few months ago.
@1bff+1abUn5qF, why did he leave other than he is working in a dead end job? He is a smart guy and anyone who can should move to a better job. He did the right thing, this place is for people who have no drive or ambition. Me, I dont want to waste my life in this type of environment either.

Lost ANOTHER very competent co-worker this Friday to him leaving to obtain a better job. He was not laid off. Just left, as the others did as well. Competent number of team members are shrinking as they have been quitting. Manager is probably anxious about losing all of those team members, getting down to below the total number required for her job as a Manager to still exist. There is a reason they all have quit.
