I gave the highest rate to all the questions knowing mgmt tracks our responses and they know our identity.
Except for question on whether I have a best friend at work - odd question. I ranked it the lowest score. Verizon wireline has laid off or offered a severance to so many employees, closed so many offices, and so much of our support is now offshore cebu and Bangalore. I know so few people anymore that well. Probably like everyone else.

My team was told they ask the best friend question " to make sure we have someone at work we can turn to or confide in." AWWWWW HOW SWEET. Last I checked, Verizon isn't a high-school guidance counselor. It's a business and since when does a business give a f if you have a bestie at work unless there an ulterior motive?
Why pluralize “country”?

We spent half our quarterly VP call on them explaining what work best friend was and why it was so important to Verizon for people to have one.
The rest of the call was on how important it was to take the survey and how we were doing better than other companies had done in the past.
Who cars about our work or Verizon just pulse pulse pulse.

They called me on my day off to take the survey. I told him ok fine but I’m lying on it because the last time there was a survey, we all got spoken to because of the stores scores and I don’t need that again.
Poor widdle manager! Everybody in his lunch circle jerk got waid off! Now, peopew in Taiwan and Kowea do their jobs.

It's a sham! Mangers and directors calling employees asking them if they took the survey. Clearly it's NOT what they claim it is!
That is why nothing ever got fixed. Too many people not answering questions honestly. If they say the survey is anonymous and you get treated poorly shortly thereafter, based on your answers, I would say that was grounds for a lawsuit...
Hr has a bonus tied to the results..
