New structure in Corp Comms

Found out I’m being moved. Asked my boss and no one has details. no job description and no one knows what is going on. Grateful to have a job but managers are clueless. Isn’t this what you are all paid to know? pathetic.

Managers don’t know anything because there is nothing to know. The structure hasn’t been determined. The job descriptions have not been done. They are still figuring out what they are doing because BR is so out of her league she doesn’t know what to do. Support from HR is nonexistent. The whole thing is an incredibly sad joke.

Instead of that post I would’ve expected a poem from you and your very weak team and skills.

Post ID: @1qwb+1aWGFA8R This poster inadvertently says it all… I can think of no better post than this to illustrate the need to cut out 5 to 8 layers of middle management. The sad thing is that these were all once good, once hard working people. Sadly, once you’ve been a cog in a 10 layer chain you really are not a a manager anymore and can be completely displaced or demoted into another role. It was comfortable but it is over.

As they destroyed even more good people and careers, did they at least get an inappropriate departing poem?

Why are you flipping managers &#*$ for not knowing things? They can't miracle the knowledge to themselves, if someone above is not sharing, how exactly do you expect them to get this information and why would it make them "pathetic"? You don't have the information either, are you "pathetic" because of it? Someone in the chain surely knows, but it's possible that the details are still being worked out. At least you have a job, the reorg structure will be communicated at some point. Relax.

None of the managers know what’s going on. It looks like a confusing sh!t show because it is a sh!t show. It is only going to get worse in the weeks ahead.

I really feel for my former Corp Comm colleagues. I got out before the S hit the fan, but what they're going through is brutal.

I'm just here to share support and let you know there are MUCH greener pastures elsewhere. Hang in there!

job, if that is what you call it; not sure how grateful you will be once you find the new role

At least you can say you have a job.

From what I've been told, tomorrow you'll hear where you're being moved to, if that's happening to you.

Sounds like my situation, 20%+ pay cut and no new job description. Ridiculous.

It could be that even the managers don't know.
