OP here, thanks for all the advice! I am the only one in the group actually doing any work.

I will do a 'gooder' job as one person mentioned in their post, In any case, i will take a job outside of the low paying one here and move to a new one, then maybe come back in 2 years in higher role, but will have to see how it goes. I agree would never see an earned pay raise here.

If you get rated Exceeds every year for 10 years, you might eventually get to 20%.

Troll post, all. This person posts in broken English here every day. This is not a serious question.

It appears that neither the manager nor the IC speaks English.

You will get that only if you stay 10-20 years depending if the yearly is 1 or 2 % that year.

The only way you're getting a raise like that is by leaving the bank...

Get a new job somewhere else. But you knew that.

Apply for a position internally that pays 20% more. That’s the only way I’ve gotten more than the standard 1.5% increase in 17 years. WF operates on budgets dictated by HR and doesn’t hand out big raises just because you ask. Everyone is very replaceable and they know if.

Most I’ve received for an increase here without a chance in position was 12%. I had done a lot of above/beyond type assignments to get it.

Could it be that your manager does speak a bit of english, but thought that you were asking to “complete your 20% raise” or something else crazy along those lines…

I don't think it's even possible to get a 20% raise with a promotion. You'd have to get an actual new job.

Raises are a verbal form of pulling teeth. 20% is non-existent.

Yea, go some where else, did you really need us to tell you that, this place is a sh-t ho-e, you'll never get a raise equal or more than the cost of living.

Easy peasy.
Get recruited away and bounce back in two years.
The genius of this plan is that you’ll be gone for the bloodbath and come back once Charlie moves along and things get back to normal.

What makes you think you deserve a 20 percent pay raise doing the SAME JOB, when that type of pay raise is practically impossible at Wells Fargo for doing the SAME JOB.
