I'm not talking about Agile, this is different. Apparently something some teams will be merging in to. It seems no manager can tell anyone about it.
Does this lead to a new round of layoffs for whoever doesn't make it in to a squad?

Squads? Do we call the squad leaders Master Sergeants?
Of all the f@rking d-mb things I've heard here, this has to take the cake.
Is this the TMS site that you're talking about? Popped up a few weeks ago. You complete a talent profile and they suggest a development plan from what I assume.
@qoa. I don’t know what rock you have been hiding under but Dimensions has been around for a couple of years now. We had to enter our skills in that way back and update it every quarter.
@mbu
You are likely thinking of Dimensions. Not so much a test but you will be asked to enter your skill level on various technologies that have been deemed as pertaining to the different job functions. After you rate yourself, your manager will review your rankings and then either approve/decline your rating. Still in pilot phase but should be coming out in 3rd quarter.
I suspect so.
Tech is nothing more than shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic to look like they are fixing something, except they are breaking it even more.
That’s why I left. They have no clue and are putting people’s jobs at risk.
I heard about some tests coming to see who is qualified here to have a job. They find the managers hire people that make them feel safe in their role, many of which have 0 experience and can lead to big failures in the bank.
aka. CR monitoring people, what a waste of money
