WFC seems to attract a very specific type of people (I wish I was talking only about the many layers of management we have but I've seen it too many times among the 'regular peons') - hateful, nothing-is-my-fault, I'll-step-over-everybody-to-get-what-I-want type. If you are wondering why the culture has gone from bad to worse to the worst, there's your answer. And don't expect any changes because people like that thrive here.

@5avs+1aMLTtr3 - shut your filthy mouth
The author of this post is a clueless c-nt.
@slc+1aMLTtr3 what the he-l are you talking about? OP is talking about hateful culture toward employees. I totally agree. So happy I have another job to go to, can't take much more of this.

By people he means people exactly like you, and I agree. Reread your posts and try to do it from a human perspective.
@1ujj: what the he-l does that mean??
@1qya+1aMLTtr3 Here you go again. LOL
Charlie Scharf is running the show now. He sets the tone. He’s creating the culture. He’s the one who is leading the bank’s conduct by example. He’s in charge of who manages and who doesn’t, who thrives and who doesn’t, who gets paid millions and who doesn’t qualify for a meager raise, who stays and who goes. Charlie decides the ethics, the priorities, the strategy, the vision. The environment has only been “hateful” since Charlie took the helm.
People can only blame past management for so long. Charlie’s been here for 18 months now and collected about $50,000,000 as far as I know. It’s all on him. If you don’t like something about Wells Fargo: point the finger squarely at Charlie Scharf.
"Everyone who isn't me is so self-absorbed and hateful."
Lol get off your high horse, you buffoon. It's ok if people actually express their opinions, and resenting a toxic culture does not make one "hateful".
There are a lot of hateful people HERE. Rarely run into them in real life at work, but a % of people that frequent this site are the kind that are extremely hateful and selfish. Funny thing is, it's the same people that run around screaming 'ohhhh, em, geeeeee, this place is so toxic!' as if their attitude and hate isn't part of the problem.
I can honestly say the year I spent with WF was horrific and one of, if not the worst work experience of my career. I've held three positions throughout my career and by far, this was the worst!
It's hard not to when OP's "point" was just a self-fulfilling platitude. Very brave to take a stance against..."hateful people"
dont feed the trolls.
the troll on here is trying to get you angry.
just ignore them.
Looks like a couple of posters are definitely proving OPs point.

Ok. You just like to spew bs. You already proved my point.
@rrb+1aMLTtr3 - prove to you and convince you?? I have no desire to prove anything to you nor wanting to change your mind. The same way I have no desire to talk to my kneecap.

Not true, but I’m good with it either way. People normally accuse others of things they themselves do. But go ahead and be proud of yourself for your incredible insight.

If someone is d-mb enough to sell me land for some wine and beads, I’ll make that deal all day long with no regrets.
@epb+1aMLTtr3 - don’t be coy and don’t be embarrassed. It’s your own post that you are praising. Wait. Maybe you should be embarrassed from praising your own post? Just saying

Great point! I’m embarrassed that I missed that.
@xhl+1aMLTtr3 - oh no my dear. The hatred for Charlie is a lot more intense. Fair is fair. Also Charlie is hired to do a job and he is doing it. It’s expected of him. In fact it is what the board wanted so badly that they are willing to pay him that much. Hate the game not the player

I find your first sentence to be interesting:
“People were not that outraged at Stumpf scandal but they get all upset if Charlie sneezes”
I’m not sure who you mean by “people”, but I’m assuming you mean employees. The truth is that the employees I know were appalled and disgusted by Stumpf and Tolstedt. I’ll be happy to type a long post about that, re-iterating the timeline and the facts, but I’m betting that you are not interested in the facts.
Charlie is not as bad as Stumpf in terms of profiting from fraud and deceit. But his wealth does come at the expense of his own employees. Charlie personally profits from taking away people’s jobs here, and at the Bank of NY and Visa. Charlie’s wealth comes from selling out American workers and sending jobs overseas. Charlie Scharf is no pillar of ethics and integrity in leadership. Neither is our Board.
People were not that outraged at Stumpf scandal but they get all upset if Charlie sneezes. And it is all because they are afraid about losing their job. Trashing Indians in such a mean and pitiful way also just because of their fear. Sad!
@juo+1aMLTtr3 - you are responsible for your own fate, future and health. Carrying that much hatred is not good for your health. Resentment is like drinking poison and hope the other person will die
I've come to loathe the company I work for, and pretty much everything I've come to hate about it is the result of bad management, bad actors, or the response to those things -- none of which I am personally responsible for.
I always said those keyboard warriors wouldn’t say those things to someone’s face because they would be afraid they would pick their a$$ up off the floor.
This site has turned into an extension of social media. Everyone talks a good game when they're anonymous and hiding behind their keyboards. It's just life in the new millenium - for the most part, best ignored.
Well we brought in a lot of Chase folks and that’s how it is there.
