Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Leading USA banks by employee count

https://www.statista.com/statistics/250220/ranking-of-united-states-banks-by-number-of-employees-in-2012/

Now you know why the #1 priority for Chuckie is to get rid of American employees.

At over $65,000 each, just dropping 10% of american employee count with Indian replacements is over $1,500,000,000 in annual savings.

The only way to grow the bank is to cut staff.

Lucky for Wells Fargo employees, the board has hired the #1 hatchet guy on Wall St.

Soon after the hatchet man was hired, she quit (aka chickened out) because she was about to testify to congress https://www.forbes.com/sites/jackkelly/2020/03/10/wells-fargo-chairman-elizabeth-duke-quickly-resigns-before-having-to-testify-before-congress/

You can read all about her here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_Ashburn_Duke

Her tenure is a prime example of failed oversight and leadership failure.

Because of the mountain of her errors, Wells Fargo employees continue suffer the consequences.

"She first studied physics at North Carolina State University before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she graduated with a bachelor of fine arts in drama in 1974."

And drama is fitting because the story of Wachovia and Wells Fargo is both a comedy (pick-a-pay loans, remember them?) and a tragedy (scandal after scandal).

She was obviously well prepared in school for this clown show but when the shtf she ran away.

This woman should be barred from being chair person of any public traded company ever again, but that implies accountability and wall street doesn't believe in that.

We have antiquated systems and heavily manual processes in tech that rely on those bodies. Every time I try to suggest automation to replace these processes I get stone walled. Laying people off makes for higher risk at this bank.If Chainsaw would bother to listen to regular employees and not a Zz kissing managers he would understand the negative impact these layoffs are having. I'm not working harder to close the gap for a company laying great people off due to where they live and budget cuts based on a magic number instead of reality

This article proves nothing. The number of employees doesn’t prove a whole lot as far as whether a bank is successful. There are a lot of other factors.

Another excuse for Chucky cutting jobs. It seems some folks have an agenda here.

Mo--ns don’t know they are mo--n but they are quick at calling everyone else mo--n. The same goes for self-righteous and whiners

who cares, this is d-mb; I need to worry about my situation; US companies are the demise of the free world due to all their greed, not one person, but all of them

We haven’t been down to 233k employees since before the wachovia merger. Hard to take that article seriously. How far off are all the other banks?

So pathetic. All you do is post links to articles and shout down anyone who points it out.
