Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Not sure I can take this place much longer

Does this place wear you down, drain you and your soul? It does mine. Need a break.

Your anger with regulators is completely misplaced and unfounded. The asset cap does not need to be lifted at this time. It is far from being the harshest penalty ever assigned to a bank; no idea where you got that bizarre notion.

What IS true is that Wells Fargo was as corrupt as banks get for a 16+ year run. Wells still remains as the U.S. Banking System’s largest problem child and Charlie was hired to fix that and he is doing it. None of us are privy to the plan but it seems to be obvious that the regulators are asking Wells to continue to sell off business units until we are a minor toxic bank instead of a toxic behemoth bank.

@jwp+1a9B0wfo, how long does it take to accrue all of that PTO... thats awesome! I’m a contractor but that’s like the sweetest working year that I’ve ever heard of. Are people here really all complaining how tough it is with that kind of work life balance or do only a few get that kind of deal?

Yes, but how is their grammar and coherence? Can they structure standard English sentences with proper tense, proper use of he plural and singular, etc?

If so perhaps you can ask them to help you out in that area for your resumé.

Just a thought.

If your burned out, take some time off. This place give me so much vacation time off, its hard to even use it all. I get like 2 personal holiday days, 28 days of PTO, 12 days of holiday time, 2 days to volunteer.

The troubles with Wells Fargo are rooted so many corrupt unethical people in low, middle and seniors positions with their power that they abuse, scold and threat firing employees. Wells Fargo evil managers are not true leaders or not experts or not problem solvers. They talk lies, denies everything, blame nd criticize employees even in the face of facts because they play favor the popular employee and senior manager. Hot air is all they have. So many terrible people are troublemakers at Wells Fargo, but they are still there enjoying their six figure easy job do nothing work monitoring employees, approving timetrackers, documenting employees, showing off fake presentation performance.

It’s not the work. The work is the easy part. It’s the constant worry over things we can’t control, the dishonesty, and the lack of support. It’s being told to raise our hands while knowing that if we do so we’re toast. It’s the feeling of helplessness inherent in that.

The beatings will continue until morale improves. The only option - GTFO.
