Seeing lot of job requirements for Digital Consultants. Just wondering what exactly they do and do we need so many of them? Anyone with more info care to shed dome light?

No because you actually have to build things and deliver a product.
So it’s like a Business Systems Consultant or Business Initiatives Consultant, but for the Digital space?

The digital consultant and digital manager job families are for employees that work to build and support the WF digital channels including wellsfargo.com and the CEO channel that supports Wholesale/CEO customers. A lot of the work they are focused on is digitizing processes that were previously manual. They also implement new core functions like DocuSign.
Its a position designed to figure out how to get business concepts represented in digital storage, modeling and visualization. Skillsets are very wide here and the business is clueless so ask specific questions.
Covers the business side of digital work. In the scope of Wells Fargo as a whole, it's a very small percentage considering the growth of online and mobile banking. More people work in HR than digital if that tells you anything.
