What are current employee's salaries as a percentage of their positions midpoint?

Over it by a lot but in CIB where pay scales are almost irrelevant.
I started at 87% and I am now at 89%.
Pre job reclassification I was approaching 90% of MRP.
Post job reclassification I'm a hair below 75% of MRP.
My bonus target went from 7.5% to 10%
In 20+ years I have only ever been offered MRP once when receiving an offer.
I dont even know what my Midpoint is...its not listed on open reqs- just says TBD
I was hired at 80% MRP and over 5 years received 3 promotions (I never made it close to MRP). I actually had several subordinates making more then me. Left for another company and they doubled my salary without blinking (non-tech). It’s why people boomerang.
I was below MRP until all of the titles within my group were changed. Now that same rate of payI am slightly over MRP and my earnings potential (highest end of range) is about 15k lower with my new title.
There is a formula out under the Manager Center that explains the recommended ranges of salary increases. I also got exceeds but received a 5% increase because of my %of MRP. Because you are at 115% MRP you could only get a merit increase of 0-3%. If you would have received Meets or below, you would not have gotten a merit increase because of your ratio to MRP. Had you received Consistently Meets you would have been eligible for 0-6% increase.
In order to get a decent merit increase next year, i would recommend talking with your manager to see what the path looks like to move up to the next level of your title. At 115% and Exceeds you are considered to be ready for the next level.
Hope this helps
I joined in early 2020 as an analytic consultant at 15% over MRP. Initial conversation with recruiter about 10% below MRP.
Based on my conversations with colleagues, recruiters try to get you in at slightly below MRP (~10%).
If you ever want hope of going past MRP, best bet is to leave and come back. Use your knowledge of pay ranges to negotiate. I got exceeds and only got 2.4% raise. Prior companies with similar rating scale would give me 4-5% at Exceeds.
if you've been here longer than about 7 years, you were likely started under Midpoint. I'm at 80% and a top performer, my peers that came in later came in around 90% but it's very difficult to get raises so you're stuck if this happens without leaving.
I have a team of 35+, of those I hired internally or externally everyone is at mrp or higher. I go up to 1.1 on a new hire, but will exceed if sensible.
88%
Most people are below MRP but yes you can be at or above. It's pretty rare and yes some eventually hit the max.
Where can I find midpoint in my position?
I’m currently at 100% to mid-point only starting in my role since Oct 2019.
Midpoint is a misnomer here. It is not an average salary by any means. You are lucky if you get 80% of it to start and with 1 or 2% raises you will likely never get to midpoint.
I think it is obvious the average across the company would be less than 100% without a doubt as the MRP also adjust overtime but I think the OP is trying to gauge the average % below the MRP. I would imagine most people are in the 90-95% range.
Average mrp across the company is likely less than 100%. No different than industry peers.
About 95%.
Lifers don’t realize that most people being below the mid is industry standard. The mid is the middle of a range of base comp that Wells will offer, not an average or median of current employees. It’s normal to pay outsiders more, and vs peers, Wells has a ton of insiders, (because we refuse to fire under-performers, among other reasons), so we have a lot of sub-mid employees.
In my current position for almost ten years and still not at midpoint.
About three years ago i got to about 95% of midpoint and i was moved up a level, am currently around 90% of midpoint.
4k over midpoint
Always below midpoint, which is supposedly the market rate. Too old to quit now.
91ish%
Over 20 yrs with co and below mid. Salary not keeping up with adjustments to the salary range.
Been in my role for 6 years and have received meets and exceeds expectations every year on reviews and was promoted once but my salary as a percentage as midpoint has always been less than 90% of midpoint.
