Do you think morale, and TM engagement and sentiment is worse here or the New York Governor's Office? Lets hear it. My assessment is it's at an all time low.

It is obvious you don’t work at Wells Fargo and are just a troll.
I haven't seen team morale this low since ~2002 when WFSC had gone through multiple annual reorgs and teams were left in complete disarray, if functional at all. It isn't quite as bad as it was then but they also didn't plan to cut 1/4 of the company back then.
This slow cut is worse in many ways, similar to peeling off a band-aid as slow as possible rather than just ripping it off.

It could not get any lower in public affairs. It is bad.

I’m assuming you think you are not an under-performer? No one thinks they are, FYI. The people you call under-performers might be better at some skills that are not your strength. It all balances out. You might push out the work, but the person at the end of the row might catch an error that pays both of your salaries for the next year.
We had a guy in our department who worked hard but didn’t brag on himself 24/7 like a lot of the self-promoters do. Our former boss always dinged him for being too quiet and not getting involved in some of the firm bs events like Raise Your Hand or Build a Display out of Food Cans etc.
New boss came in and came to appreciate him for quietly being the most productive employee on the desk. While everyone else was bringing their “success stories” to the boss and patting themselves on the back asking for raises: this guy was kicking out the most work, answering the most phones and receiving the most compliments from the field.
I’m betting your team mates could find plenty of things wrong with you 😉.
I've been here almost 8 years and it's as low as I've ever seen it. Little communication, the constant threat of layoffs, and no clear direction from leadership (other than to sell off businesses and cut people) is taking its toll. And then add a pandemic on top of it all.

Morale in my group is fine. Their a few that are worried, but they have traditionally been under performers and they are realizing there is nowhere left to hide
Most people I know are fine but this website seems to draw in the people who are miserable which makes sense seeing as miserable people need somewhere to vent.
