Dead end job

Did I imagine a time when working here actually meant you'd be making decent progress depending on your drive and willingness to go the extra mile? Or has this always been a dead end job? It certainly has been feeling like one for the past several years or so...

I get what you’re saying. It’s hard to remain engaged amidst so much chaos and confusion. Hang in there as long as you can.

Would you call five years with 1-2% raises a dead end job?

The Extra Mile gets u nowhere here! A Meet rating and more abuse. Kissing a– and being a good sheep will, its all abt politics.

What @qws said, though I will add that like many issues, your LOB plays a large part in whether or not a particular position is "dead end" or not.

Well, as stated before: America is now a service economy. Strap on your name tag and get to work. Don't forget to wash your hands
