Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

How worried should I be about next week?

Since it's the last few days of the quarter, what are the chances they'll decide to drop some announced layoffs on us to appease the shareholders if the numbers are not shaping up to be what they want them to be? I haven't been here for long so I'm not sure if this is how WFC operates, but my old company did so I thought it's better to check.

With number of cuts Wells is making, no one is safe.

BTW... don't raise your hand. It'll cost you!

Here's the thing, if WF lays off people like say, EY, then it's done by a third party to cover their arses. What I mean is this, anyone and everyone should be somewhat worried no matter what week. But why worry, cause its out of your hands, your managers hands, and i bet a few above that based on where you stand, HR level wise.

Keep your head down and your mouth shut. There are no guarantees in life and that includes working at Wells

never let your guard down, this place is unpredictable, no way to predict the next move they will make.

I don't think the quarter matters. They'll continue the drip.

everyday is layoff day, company is failing and they need to cut 25% of workforce; hopefully they can get some forward looking leadership or it will just fail anyways even if they cut 100%

And you think you will get your answer here?

WF is not that nimble. With all the required process flows, the logistics don’t allow for quick adjustments.
