Uuhhhhh.... perhaps because they stand out at Wells as educated, ethical, professional, hard working and client driven?

And maybe, just maybe, because they’ve never enthusiastically jumped in to help out with he perpetual latest scheme and eventual scandal?

And could it be that they are generally far better educated and further along in their careers than the retail branch who are on the board complaining about the cost of professional business attire?

A better question is why are there so few layoffs per capita on the bank side?

WFA operations just took a hit, and more are coming.

The only knock on WFA was their pitifully anemic stats on opening fake accounts.

As for the rest of the bank... well....

WFA has been going through layoffs for the last couple years thanks to the bloated bank. WFA just doesn’t whine about it like little children.

They run a lot leaning than the bloated bank. Also the regional realignment will result in layoffs and did this week. More shoes will fall as they further integrate PCG, WBS and PWM.

What are you talking about? They had tons of layoffs. Every time they do one of their "Regional" remaps, a ton of staff get thrown to the curb. Been like this since 2019 with no hint of stopping anytime soon.

Yeah! How does that work? The Bank side suffers the worst while these guys seem to bob and weave and get bigger bonuses while feeing to death it’s customer base.
