Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Feeling so sad

Endless layoff, endless pressure, endless pandemic and endless sadness.
Hope who got laid off can get something better. I am getting tired of everything here.

It’s like the Illuminati runs this place - a cesspool of torture and suffering. In a way, I think someone somewhere enjoys treating people this way.

I feel you...have given few interviews outside and as the previous poster said, my skill set is not good enough now. Waking up to a non-productive everyday is taking a toll on me as well. I am thinking of just quitting and taking a break. But it’s difficult to think about not getting the severance, so just hanging there.

I left and a ton happier, if your in tech you will need to learn a lot to get a new job. Tech here is out of date and no company wants people doing things this way. Pathetic they let it get so behind.

It's only a job - not like you're being called into an office and being given a diagnosis of terminal cancer. Sometimes forced change is a hidden blessing.

Hang in there and make sure your resume is up-to-date. Competitors are clamoring to grab talent from this major WF disruption. If you have an opportunity to go somewhere else, I highly encourage it. I left recently and my entire outlook improved. Found a better job with a much better culture and higher pay.

Don't let the WF BS keep you down. There are great opportunities out there.

@gfu. Exactly. Just an example of why a pandemic raged out of control. American selfishness.

Wow, reading some of these comments on here makes me sick, truly some genuine jerks on here with zero compassion or empathy. "Cry me a river?!" ....you have no soul..

Buck it up sparky. Life wasn't meant to be eazy. You have a computer and apparently time to waste so you're already better off than billions of people around the world.

Yes it’s very inhumane. The human spirit wants to work and achieve, and take pride in a job well done. Living in a constant state of uncertainty and stress undermines our ability to be our best selves, to our detriment and our employer’s.
