Of course I expect layoffs

When you get sent to the new IT Portal and the first thing you see is half the screen filled with a grinning lady with a nose ring on the site.... you know you absolutely work for a company that has other priorities than making their employees or anyone else feel confident in the decisions being made.

Who chooses this internal marketing?

Can we at least go to the new IT support and see a woman fixing a computer? Some kind of digital transformation layout or patterns? Something technical? It is as if every single decision is a bad one.....right down to pictures on your computer.

Yeah, I expect more layoffs. Can we start with whomever chose that lady's picture?

So many uptight people reading this thread. Loosen the pigtails and get a sense of humor. Nobody seems to laugh at this place. Have not been on a conference call in years where there has been humor or laughter. Uptight, intense, culture.

Nose rings are for hogs, not people. Pig farmers ring hog's noses to keep them from rooting in dirt and tearing things up.

New York city folk who have never been to see how bacon and ham on farms is made wouldn't understand this. There's some DI- Versity for ya city folk.

Nose rings, pink or purple hair, androgynous dress, these are the things you see with today’s youth. Get used to it. It’s not my thing either but I don’t dismiss someone because of one of the above.

I cringe when I hear both white supremacy and white privilege coming from the fringes. 80% of people in the middle don’t care except for a persons character, whatever their skin or background or who they love. It would be nice if the rest of humanity would choose to get along instead of making excuses. That goes for businesses as well, getting on bandwagons for some cheap pub.

Not sure what you're looking at but half the screen would be an exaggeration. If a picture of someone with a nose ring is you biggest issue, you have too much time on your hands.
