Stodgy stagecoach

Really liked what Ather had to say in the town hall a couple of weeks ago. He called wells the stodgy stagecoach. Never heard anyone else be so candid. Even Saul on Friday played that down, touting our rich history. Anyone know more about Ather? Right guy for the Strategy digital and innovation job?

That is yet to be determined. Let’s see what he does first rather than what he says.

He’s the only CS hire that seems legit so far.

Hiring your former boss's son-in-law is stodgy.

I like what I've seen of Ather so far. He's put together a focused team interested in results over kingdom building. He has the background to match up with the other LOB heads, so should be able to get buy in and implementation. His reference to stodgy Stagecoach refers to our positioning in the digital space. We're behind, no doubt. But I've also heard him talk about the value of the franchise.

I love how people just walk in the door and think they know about the company already. A recurring theme from all these new “leaders”.

he's a known hard hitter and has a great background, he'll be tough to content with. I'm sure he'll be bringing over others from his prior team soon if not already.
