I’ve been offered a middle management position in centralized ops (won’t mention where specifically) after having left for another company for the last year. How bad/good is it? Is location strategy still on the table? Are layoffs still looming? I’m just trying to assess if I’m jumping from one crazy company to another

Run for your life the opposite way!!
is this a reporter? there are no middle management roles, those are being eliminated
Layoffs are not everywhere!
There are companies doing better than they ever have right now!
Layoffs are still looming but I suspect that's everywhere you go.
also tech secretaries being layed off in next quarter as they are useless
they are eliminating middle mgmt, too many layers
Location strategy is going to happen after covid and ops jobs are being outsourced to India. I know because sitting in those meetings.
Appreciate the quick reply. Can you elaborate? Are layoffs diminished?
You would be jumping from a crazy company to an amazing company.
