Why is Atlanta not a HUB location when there is so much diverse talent there?

Atlanta is famous for collapsing interstate highway bridges. City run by fools with the traffic to prove it. Ever wonder why there is NOT a second highway belt around the city? Corruption amongst city and county planners and developers. Second beltway was planned years ago, however, local pols got their pockets stuffed with cash and the result is more burbs and no beltway highway! People were screwed. Atlanta is the epicenter example of local corruption on steroids! Stay away!! Oh, I forget to mention the crime. Another time.

id–ts. ATL was on the former hub list and then off. There's a decent Commercial Bsnking presence ... tells me maybe those associated businesses are being shipped.
Hard to imagine that the company will be adding hubs any time soon. We already have much more office space across the country than we need. We're more likely to see hubs 'removed' than added.
ATL could be a decent hub, but there's little motivation to buy/build one there when we don't need it.
The comments here are so ignorant. The Buckhead neighborhood and Atlanta’s other northern suburbs are so rich and have many tech and finance companies there. It’s definitely not something Charlotte can be on par with. Sorry but Charlotte is a big suburb at best. But I have to say the midtown location of the current WF tower is a bad choice.
You're in the wrong group... Ask Truist why they didn't make Atlanta their HQ when they merged
Like one person said Charlotte is already diverse and WF actually own buildings there (CIC). They are not going to Atlanta to lease more RE, that they dont need.
It appears the new hiring strategy is based off of hubs and not footprints.
Hub vs footprint. WF may have branches or specialized functions in lots of cities, including Atlanta probably. But they aren't hubs.

Atlanta is a c-aphole. Noone with a brain would move their today. That would eb like moving to Chicongo.
Why would they want to invest in more office space, in a new hub? They have more hubs than they need right now. Cheaper to pay to relocate diverse employees to an existing hub.
