DM’s still here from CORE SOLUTIONS GAMING ERA

I am surprised how many DM’s are still employed that were here putting pressure on managers and bankers during the CORE SOLUTIONS GAMING era when it was like the wild Wild West. The 8am calls demeaning managers for not being at 110%, the call nights demanding bankers pull sales out of their arses with no customer in front while branch is closed, managers threatening you that you can’t go home until you meet your goals. Then managers having to be on another call at 6pm with DM’s to report the numbers. It was horrible! 6 day work weeks for managers if you’re under 110%!! How are so many DM’s still employed?

DM’s? Core solutions gaming era? It seems that Wells people just can’t see their way out from their tiny silos.

I saved some emails for insurance. I may have to use them.

Some managers from back then too. They all boast about the good old days and their mentality is the same.

We need great risk & compliance and auditors, preferably from New York, to get this ship right.

All HR has to do is audit their emails from those years to see the constant threats DM’s would make on managers to put pressure on them and their teams to come up with magical sales at all costs. Literally. Still remember a prize being an “ice cream party” for reaching 200% of plan. Then someone works get fired and no big deal. At it again. I remember them saying “the goals aren’t going away” and threaten us. Yet most are still employed

This is quite possibly the most impactful thing I’ve read on here. I can not agree with you more.

They should have been gone a long time ago along with the others.

Agree 100%, I worked in retail years ago and I can’t say I met any district manager who wasn’t pushing the sales tactics. At the time I naively thought they were there to help and had gone to report to them my concerns and shortly thereafter was threatened with being fired.. go figure. I’d say get rid of all of them and start fresh.
