If they pay me a zillion dollars a year, I bet I can drop gems like this too. In all seriousness, SvB seems like a pretty smart guy. It'll be interesting to see what he does about spending, outside of sending all the domestic tech jobs to India.

An Illustrative example he's pushing us to take courses for java or this or that. But there is no initiative to rewrite .net apps so we're just wasting time.

All talk from this guy. WIMT is completely dysfunctional various teams work in little silos, we're hopelessly behind the tech curve and paralyzed by mindless bureaucratic complexity of our own doing. We're inundated endless projects intended to satisfy the backlog of regulatory issues that have been ignored for years.

He'll be gone in a couple of years, tech will still be in shambles.
