No one is immune. No team is immune. There have been and will continue to be layoffs in Digital. But given the state of the pandemic’s current impact on society, do you really think they’re willing to risk majorly damaging their most important medium (digital online banking)? I vote for “highly unlikely”, but again... no team is immune, just more resilient.

Has digital experienced layoffs to date? It seems like they've always managed to avoid big cuts, even though they are incredibly bloated and inefficient. (I've worked in that org, so I speak from experience.) Could mean they are pretty vulnerable now, as opposed to a group like marketing that has already experienced several rounds of cuts.

No inside scoop on marketing, not saying they won't see more cuts. Agree with others, no group is safe. But not sure how many more rounds digital can get a free pass because they are the low-cost channel of the future blah blah blah...

No digital is not part of marketing.... digital is a huge group that mostly develops online banking.

IHA maybe be busy but Marketing will get hit this year. No area is safe unfortunately. With less people, the work will get reprioritized and spread around. Sorry but that’s what happens after layoffs

Marketing and the IHA are busier than ever. We are doing work previously done by outside agencies and saving the company money. No layoff rumors here. No time for that.

They'll let you know if there are. Their approach is to create as much anxiety, fear, and intimidation as possible so good people quit this year, even people who may not be getting cut. Keep people distracted, unfocused on important regulatory risk and control work, and make them spend more time looking for jobs than doing important work and operational initiatives. Seems like a sound strategy, right?!? This is supposed to be called Leadership, btw. Laughing yet?!

Is Digital Ops part of Marketing? If so, those layoffs haven't really happened yet. They keeps saying end of Q1
