Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

They are intentionally making you miserable

Don't think for one second that the miserable work atmosphere is accidental or a coincidence. The leadership is intentionally cultivating a hostile work environment in hopes more people will decide to walk away. After all, attrition always beats layoffs in cost-saving.

Never forget, you quitting is far cheaper for the company than laying you off and paying you severance.

I have to agree. We got new managers recently and they hardly ever communicate with us. We have no clue whats going on and there's a ton of rumors. I'm doing everything I can to get out of this place, which is I guess what they want.
