Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Chukkies revenge: $20,392,046 per year, or, 274x average USA salary pay

CEO Pay Ratio

For 2020, the annualized total compensation of Mr. Scharf, our CEO, was $20,392,046. This amount equals Mr. Scharf’s compensation as reported in the Summary Compensation Table. The estimated annual total compensation of the median Wells Fargo employee (other than our CEO) was $74,416. We estimate that our CEO’s total annual compensation was 274 times that of the estimated annual total compensation of the median Wells Fargo employee in 2020.

Average India employee makes less than $30,000 usd per year. That means Chuk makes over 680x their salary.

To break this down a little more, ASSuming he uses toilet 1x per day, 5 days a week, 20 work days a month, he makes more sitting on the throne than the any you rank&file employees make in an entire month (you can check the math yourself).

Search that doc for "ceo pay ratio"

If you read that doc carefully, its full of lies and half truths. India and Philippines were not mentioned not even once.... Its like they are trying to hide what they are doing?

I’m not sure if your data is accurate, but if it is, the people in j dis are as overpaid as Charlie and just as ineffective and dumb.

Not denying it is high but similar to a running back, the careerspan is generally limited. They may never find another similar level role and are sometimes replaced often or when an org struggles. S

All CEO salaries are out of hand. It started in the 80s and is quite frankly now ridiculous how much they are paid compared to an average worker. The higher you get, you are just a face anyway and do little real work compared to the rank and file.

Envy is the religion of the mediocre. It comforts them, it soothes their worries, and finally it rots their souls.

Why don’t you worry about your own salary instead of someone else’s? This is America not Russia, your paid for performance.
