I can’t stand Open Enrollment

Sure I see the value in insurance and extended warranty! I had TMP multi device but got tired of always being routed straight to tech coach who would put me o hold for an hour and then say they have to transfer me to Tier 2 (I am a Tier 2 rep btw) if I had to call in about anything. I eventually dropped back down to TEC per 10 lines and pay extra to get rid of tech coach. They answer calls but that’s it. Vendor reps k–l the brand so selling vz protect or Tmp is not easy. I mention it and if they say no, I keep it moving. I’m in Tier 2! By the time the customer gets to me, they have already been harassed about vz protect and are p-ss-d that the other department couldn’t fix their issue and focused more on trying to sell them insurance so I have been getting a lot of negative feedback from customers already and it just started on the 8th! My supervisor messages me in slack every 10 min to remind me I’m on the 0 add list and can I message the mdns for accounts I’ve made the offer on then I have no idea what my customer I’m currently talking to is saying. I’m a leading rep so can I just do my job instead of trying to get Tech coach reps, who transfer their calls to me anyway, job security?

Im a rep and now... I just don’t care if they get it or not. I really don’t see the value for a lot of people adding insurance. You might as well add the one that’s like $6ish (don’t remember because we’re not supposed to sell it) but why would anyone pay $10 more a month?? Especially the first year? They can wait till open enrollment and then add the extended warranty after that first year. Tech coach is such a joke too. I tried calling them and they promise to call back but never do. “Oh reset your phone that has a burn screen on it and maybe it will work” after spending 20 mins trying to explain that it wasn’t actually physically burned...

Yes OE is just a way that the company allows people to slam accounts.

It’s hard in retail also. Not to mention there are plenty of reps that behave unethically to get the OE.
