Dear layoff deciders,
Please don't forget about little Auto. Letting go a handful of managers is an ok start, but let's get to the real cost savings.
There are functional redundancies galore. Entire redundant teams of 'consultants', 'liaisons', etc. (For used car loans?!)
You can't rely on managers to do the right thing and to be honest about this. Their agenda is to save their own bacon, and who could blame them? Their first duty is to themselves.
But there is work to be done.
Far too many 6 figure folks collecting paychecks that shouldn't be. And this really adds up.
Please hit the accelerator on this. Shareholders are counting on you.
