Just wondering do we still have the opportunity to work from home occasionally? I am not asking for working from home every single day but just wondering can we still work from home once or twice a week?

Of course not. Why do you think they're so hell bent on this core location strategy? It's a move to force people back into the office and get them to quit so they don't have to pay severance. It's been proven that working from home works very well for most people, yet this company is going backwards. It is another one of Schart's tactics to reduce his beloved headcount.

Oh no, everyone will have to come into the office and burn up that $2.99 a gallon fuel while they talk about achieving zero greenhouse emissions by 2050! Haha! You can't make this sh– up! I predict there will be no tolerance and no WFH policy once covid is over.
Sux it up; come to the office and be happy about it. If not, self terminate and move on.
Since it's WF, I'm sure there will be no coherent consistent policy, and the buck will be passed down to petty managers who will use it against you.
There was a manager in tech that recently got layed off, but he was pulling 2 jobs at same time. Is this the norm?
I can’t speak for short term but if the entire financial industry is moving towards a hybrid model (2/3 days in office, 2/3 days wfh). WF will follow suit.
The whole wfh has made me lazy and I don't want to commute anymore. I could wfh forever. I get to slack off, take my time doing tasks without anyone breathing down my neck. It's wonderful! I sit at my tv and work at the same time.
It will be the same as it's been for years and years. Some employees will be able to 100% WFH, some will be able to WFH a certain amount per week/month, and some will have to work on site 100% of the time. Just depends on the nature of your work and your LOB.
I'm pretty sure others will be allowed the option, while others will not.
sorry managers are proven unqualified, so they will have no say in company policy; no more some people remote some have to come to office. That is not supporting the new company guidines for equality and other rights that need to be equal for all.
What a stupid question to ask, do you really think people on this board can tell you the answer to that question? The bank as a whole will tell you what you will do in the months to come, then your manager will most likely have a say.
when you guys go back it will be equal for all, not some groups remote and some on site, those days are over. Everyone on site, hybrid in beginning then regular 5 days a week. If you want to work from home become a housekeeper.
Why is rush hour in quotes, but working is not?
I surely wish to still skip the almost 2 hour round trip commute into the office during "rush hour". I can get to the Wells Fargo office in only 35 minutes when it is not "rush hour". During morning and evening "rush hour" the commute becomes an almost one hour each way, sit in the traffic, inching along, brake, go, brake, go, crawling along type of thing. While telecommuting I have been able to spend the time that used to be spent commuting to work on working longer hours, overtime (unpaid) and then also a little more free time at home to do household chores after working all day.
From other banks they are taking on a hybrid model so I don’t see why not. This will be the new post pandemic way of banking.
