So we were finally told our 2021 objectives this week (2.5 months into the year). One listed was "do more with less." So now individual contributors are being lectured about the budget, though we ZERO control over it. Do more with less, there's your objectives! DO MORE WITH LESS!
Sounds like a supportive company, right?!
You get garbage objectives nothing to do with your job. Wells Fargo evil management just copy and paste them so they are setup for HR documentation to do layoff and firing.

Upper management is not out to harass anybody, they are out to cover their butts and look like they’re doing something important.
The all-team calls, the writing of objectives, the public service initiatives - it’s all textbook. They do it because it was on the test.

Hell these highly paid salaried Wells Fargo HR Performance Management, corporate elites, leadership managers set these dumb behavioral based 2021 objectives and success criteria . Of course they are not being held to them in their rich positions. Wells Fargo corporate elites are dishonest, dirty rotten people; they plot these documentation to suppress, intimidate, humiliate, and rid people by headcounts.
