Anyone have any insight on the future of this position? I am a premier banker 1 and would like to know what needs to be done to get to the next level.

Wow, this sounds the like most overpaid and lucrative retail job ever. Low barrier to entry, minor degree required, unbelievably great pay for minor skills.
Actually assessment period is one year from fully registered date as premier banker 1. It is no longer 2 years
There is a two year waiting period to become a Premier 2. At that point your manager, DM, and ASL will meet to discuss your promotion. If they feel you meet core job competencies you will get the promotion. If not, they wait another quarter and discuss again. Believe me when I say this is not a “sales” based evaluation. No questions are around production. I had a premier who was doing 3-5MM in referred assets a month that was declined twice. Read your PMO’s and follow the process. Premier 2 is a nice gig. 80k salary and easy bonus opportunity of 20-50k a year. (I managed a branch with 2 premier bankers so I know this very well). You can do it.
