What do we need to to to regain trust with our customers. People are sceptical and do not trust us any more, just ask any customer you come across. Wells Fargo may not continue to exist if this continues - you cannot have a bank that's not trusted. With time, this will cut our numbers and we will cease to exist. So, how do we rebuild trust with our customers?

first they must rebuild trust with employees
Companies seem to forget that their customers are also employees.
Treat your ee's right and they'll treat customers even better.
If I give the answer, can I get a promotion? Because there are some highly paid executives who are tasked with this and they aren't getting it done.
Honestly I couldnt give a rats patootie. If I knew I had a company who was looking out for me and I had some job security I might.
Take care of your people and they will take care of your custoners. Do it backwards and the customer suffers refgardless
People are too lazy to switch banks, so we have that going for us
Stop doing bad stuff and time will heal all wounds because people have no attention span anymore. In spite of what the doom/gloomers like to perpetuate, no one is laying awake at night seething in rage directed towards WF. Yeah yeah, scandal bad. It happened years ago and it's over. The only people it isn't over for are regulators and those trying to schmooze regulators.
my LOB doesn't have that issue. we've not stopped providing excellent service and the customers appreciate it. Certainly, the negative news has made for some uncomfortable conversations but overall, we're marching forward.
We stop talking about putting customers first like a marketing slogan can actually make up for bad behavior, and start actually putting them first. And we keep putting them first.
Customers didn’t lose trust in WF just because of the fake account scandal. That could have been contained. They lost trust because the hits just keep on coming. Everybody has a Wells Fargo ripoff story. When you work here you get to know that first hand, because people jump to tell you.
Stop treating customers like pockets to be picked. Simple as that.
People have the attention span of gnats. After a year of covid, everybody who can does everything they can online so there's not too many options for cross selling anyhow. All we have to do is stay out of the news and we're just another bank. Just face it, who gets excited about banks?
It feels like HR posted this....
