Most affluent folks will be ok as long as they can drive outcomes and not just on RIA. Affluent is the precious baby in community bank these days. All affluent all the time. Reality is that most DM and BM are not equipped to coach to anything more complex than digital on boarding.
I think the smartest move would be to have premiers report directly to asl and make them accountable for goals. Same with SB bankers and their coaches. Let the BM and DM worry with wait time and digital. Let the real experts manage the complex bankers.
Yes these positions aren't really needed if you hire the right people, train them and have the right resources. Most of the time all they do is reach out to someone else for the answer and relay it. A "fat" role that should be cut. All of the similar roles in all businesses too. Not saying all but perhaps coordinate classes in mass and hold managers accountable for helping their employees develop as well.
Maybe so, but here at Meetings and Events, we credit the ASL, Coaches, sales leaders, business consultants and all of the outward facing sales and marketing pros with getting us the R&D budget that we need. We need to fully experience these venues to evaluate their suitability for our purposes. This is a lot of work and travel and even for a seven day evaluation we get no OT or Comp time... not even in this COVID era. You really have to love this job to do it.
Coaches, sales leaders, business consultants or whatever they call them should all go. Pointless positions.
The ASL should go, along with the 'coaches'. They are a waste of resources and that 'fat' needs to be cut out
Never quite understood the point of that position. Please explain the value-add.
