Thread regarding Belk layoffs

Stop caring?

I get really annoyed when someone gives me advice like this:

simply stop caring. Do the bare minimum. Let customers get annoyed by the long lines. And blame your store management... “sorry management didn’t schedule anyone. Just me. ”

I have a colleague who repeats this advice to everyone just like +19CsKsvg. I am not that kind of person. I can’t leave customers waiting in long lines, no matter what situation I’m in. My temperament is not like that. Customers are not to blame.

In defense of Stop caring? post. She can say what ever she wants. That's the beauty of it you do not have to read it if you don't want to. But you are right about belk not caring.

Many of us get on this forum to find out what is going on with the company we work for. Not to read silly posts like this. This company is the only one that has so many out of topic posts. Please people.

I work at corporate. Two coworkers of mine told me that they were approached about a new job role. This happened last time they had layoffs. Which means it might happen again.

Also. Belk does not care about you. Or anyone. They under staff and don’t give stores enough hours, because they know that one employee is doing the job of 2-4 people.
