Sooo everyone seeing the path forward clearly now? India and Philippines are getting staffed up and the US based team is moving to a reduced centralized COE model.
What’s your plan? Wait it out? Look for a new gig? You think you are sooo irreplaceable that you’ll keep your current role? Apply for the new roles once they get posted and existing roles get eliminated?
@1ars+19B5jZxa same. I got a much more senior role, pay is significantly more, and my new employer has a really strong structure in place in comms, marketing, etc. The core values at my new firm and stronger, the firm is much healthier, and I feel like my work actually matters and is appreciated.
I'd highly recommend looking now before the ax falls. As another poster mentioned, better to look for a job while you still have one.
I left a few weeks ago, and I'm so thankful I did! Already seeing the light of joining another company. WF is a mess. Good luck everybody.
The company is happy for as many “3” / meets or lower people to leave as possible. Less severance that way.
Frankly, what worries WF the most is that our employees will wake up, smell the roses, and do exactly what @1ars+19B5jZxa did.
WF is worried that employees will interview and find jobs elsewhere and realize that they have been underpaid, underutilized, and underappreciated all this time they were called team members at WF.
WF is worried that its employees will leave the bank before the bank is ready to lay them off.
I found by going outside, I got a promotion into senior manager role; this was prob the best thing to happen for me, while I resign, i was put in a group doing mindless work and knew that wasnt a fit for me.
I definitely lost track of my goals and journey, but now back on track and got a big boost up 3-4 levels right where I should be, higher than I was at wells in a larger company with higher revenue. So in the end worked out great for me, and I would never go to a company decades behind as only sets you back. I had to study hours a day for a year to get here.

WF HR here. I'm looking for a new job. If there is one thing that we've learned in HR, it's that it is ALWAYS easier to find a new job while you still HAVE a job.
yea I saw the same thing, not sure why they have 24 hour support in areas of tech.
Anyways, I am applying for new roles in current tech so will have lots of options going forward. I would not want to stay or come back here as it will move me backwards then would have to relearn everything again.
We've been told several times, that staffing in India and Manila is nothing more than wanting to take advantage of the ability to keep the factory running 24 hours a day. Really? Then how come half the people I work with in those sites work the same hours I do? They just work overnight instead of when the sun it up. Just be honest - It's cheaper. Don't PI$$ on my leg and tell me it's raining!
From someone who had several jobs sent to India, don’t wait. Look NOW and get out while the getting is good.
