Don't you find it insulting that 'attaboy' is the only thing we're getting these days for commendable work?

I work hard, keep a positive attitude, support everyone I come in contact with, and am someone the firm knows it can call at 2 AM in a crisis. Since I manage risk, I’m indispensable. I make six figures but prevent losses in magnitudes of that annually. I’m sitting pretty and calmly watching the storm that’s stressing you go by out my windows.
I just wish Charlie would cut 100% of legacy 15 yrs Wells Fargo mgmt. across the board. That would eliminate large number of incompetent buffoons nursing on tite of shareholders and producers. Get on with it chuck

@1cep+198poDyi how do you know this info on laying off well compensated teammembers? - i got full bonus and HR automatically increased my salary with an Exceeds performance review...I work my a** off going above and beyond...great now I could be on the chopping block...s—s!
They said they are giving people who are about to get let go higher bonuses and salaries since they really wont have to pay the salary end for the full year.

Also were you the one that broke the law here with your manager? Be careful, its well know throughout the bank, you will get information soon enough on your wrong doings.

Since CIB was recently broken out of Commercial, they get reported as a more efficient and profitable LOB since their results aren’t impacted by the provisions for loan losses required in other businesses due to COVID. And it was also identified as a growth business, seemingly the only one at the whole bank.
Not happening to everybody. I just got an unusually large bonus and annual raise. They are taking VERY good care of people they know they can rely on in these uncertain times.

Does the bank check the managers and HR department for criminal history? I am concerned some of the management in IT are criminals and are stealing my PII
My 4th manager in 18 months barely knows I exist. But then again I am one of 20+ He manages and we’ve talked maybe a half hour since becoming my manager and only on review and comp discussions, none of which he had a hand in.
Managers IN ISC and IT all trash, should all be fired to save company needed money for people who do absolutely nothing

I don’t get an “attaboy” I just get grilled for not doing enough.
How appreciated a person feels really depends on their manager. How often do they express appreciation verbally and/or in writing, formal recognition and otherwise? My group does used both Shared Success and TOP Dollar Awards, which are nice, but not all managers do these things. It's very easy to put it low on the priority list when lots of other things are going on, which is unfortunate.

It has been that way in my LOB for two years. It is very de-motivating, especially after 10+ years of busting my rear for the company.
